NLS and NV Daily report "bombshells" in the Mark Tate/Jill Holtzman Vogel/Jim Plowman election fraud case.

Mark Tate, who was indicted in January on nine counts of election fraud in connection with his campaign finance filings, has asked a Loudoun County Circuit Court for permission to subpoena state Sen. Jill Holtzman Vogel and Loudoun County Commonwealth's Attorney Jim Plowman.

Tate is accused of knowingly filing false campaign finance reports. He was charged last year, just before his June 12 GOP primary against Holtzman Vogel, but the case was dropped by special prosecutor Matthew Britton.

Edward B. Mac-Mahon, Tate's attorney, has long maintained that the prosecution was nothing but a political hit job orchestrated by Holtzman Vogel's associates.

Nasty stuff and apparently getting nastier. As one comment on NLS says, "The dominos are falling here slowly and it's only a matter of time before others give up what they know."  Stay tuned...
