So I guess... (JMU Duke - 2/14/2008 10:54:09 AM)
this is their counter-play to the 'Yes We Can' video? :D

I think it's sung to the tune of "A, B, C" (The Grey Havens - 2/14/2008 11:01:32 AM)
Will Michael Jackson soon endorse?  Maybe the Partridge Family?

Go People! (elevandoski - 2/14/2008 1:16:01 PM)
Up, Up with people. You meet them wherever you go. Up, Up with people. They're the best kind of folks we know.

Up With People! (BP - 2/14/2008 2:17:59 PM)
That was my first thought.  After hearing the first few bars of this, I thought I was either stuck on an elevator or hearing the traditional halftime cue to get up and go find beer.

But, as a (beer) glass is half full sort of guy, I will say that the Hillary clip is much, much better than this one for the Huckster:

(Warning: The following video clip has been shown to cause nausea, vomiting, and dizziness in most viewers.  This video clip should not be viewed by women who are, or might become, pregnant.  Consult your physician to determine whether you are healthy enough to withstand watching conservative Republican politicians attempting to appear "hip" and "with it").

Wow, that's spectacular. (Lowell - 2/14/2008 2:24:09 PM)
Spectacularly awful.

Hmmmm (Alicia - 2/14/2008 10:55:01 AM)
I'm convinced this was made by an Obama fan.
It's almost creepy

Possibly cult like? n/t (The Grey Havens - 2/14/2008 11:00:39 AM)

I give it an 8 (hereinva - 2/14/2008 11:26:00 AM)
Its got a beat, you can dance to it..Hillary looks good and I have a soft spot for brass.

Creativity Gap (Evan M - 2/14/2008 11:27:25 AM)
A new and different creativity gap?

In all seriousness, I have to respect the effort and energy of the Hillary fans who made this. The party is stronger for the passion elicited by both our candidates, and we should respect them, and each other.

Democratic efforts to awaken and energize Democratic voters should not be derided, regardless of the candidate in question.

But that's just how I see it.

The creativity gap is between the candidates (True Blue - 2/14/2008 11:53:02 AM)
Recall that Obama's speech serves as the "lyrics" of "Yes we can."

Clinton simply isn't capable of that kind of eloquence.

One of these days I'll sit down and analyze one of her speeches versus one of his for rhetorical devices and figures of speech.  He's simply operating on an entirely different level above Clinton when it comes to communicating verbally.  It's not surprising that it's reflected in these two songs.

Wow - I'm STUNNED (TMSKI - 2/14/2008 12:49:48 PM)
I really like music and all ... but this leaves me speechless.

I give this community great credit (The Grey Havens - 2/14/2008 1:01:24 PM)
for not saying all of the things that there are to say.

Let's just all quietly back away and force our dropped jaws closed while we try to make the stares and smiles seem to vacant.

Barack Obama will be the challenger and the underdog until the day that Hillary steps aside.  (wash, rinse, repeat)

Some people have way too much free time... (bluemom - 2/14/2008 1:37:25 PM)
I really should stop reading all these political blogs and start writing some music!
