Dear Obama Supporters,
I want to thank everyone who volunteered or participated in Obama campaign events this past year....especially the ones I hosted!
Regardless of the results tonight you have helped us win a David vs. Goliath battle in Arlington and the entire region, as faced with the local presence of the National Headquarters of our opponent, we showed that grassroots volunteers can overcome all odds to outsmart, outplay and outlast any challenge (for Survivor fans).
This was evident last night, when at the Ballston metro we faced an uphill battle of 6 Obama volunteers against a larger crowd of Hillary volunteers.
But this was still a great victory because one of our clever "Hope Mongers" was able to find out that her workers were imported from Bronx, NY at a cost of $7.00 an hour (minus travel and lodging costs I'm sure).
That's right, 2-3 blocks from her headquarters she needed PAID workers.
So, a big victory tonight will mean a PR win, a delegate win and also a MONEY win for Barack Obama.
Congratulations, even your work at the metros has made a difference and may lead to another $5 million loan sometime very soon.
I hope to see many of you this evening so we can share more of our stories and celebrate the most amazing performance of common people coming together to make a difference that I may ever see in my life.
I'm glad I was a part of it....I think we all moved one step closer to changing America and the world today.
Below is a list of victory parties in the region....Arlington/Alexandria will be hosting again at Bailey's, which will be more of a real celebration and not as much of a "results watch" format this time.

I'm coordinating volunteers interested in going to the tropical cheese state of Wisconsin for the Feb. 19th Primary. Wisconsin for Obama is need of volunteers and has two offices in Milwaukee and two more in Madision. The airfare to Milwaukee is currently only $117 roundtrip for primary weekend on Airtran with direct flights from Baltimore to Milwaukee. I currently am flying out of BWI at 8:20 am out of BWI on Saturday, Feb 16 and will be leaving Milwaukee on Feb. 19th at 7:00 pm. I'd be happy to host some volunteers in the Peltzer abode as well.
