Crocodile Tears or Genuine Emotion? You Decide.

I defended Senator Clinton in New Hampshire when the tears started to flow.  It made sense to me.  This was before her big comeback, when even her own polls showed distrubing results.  She was watching her entire presidency go down the drain.  And she wouldn't have another chance.  This year was her year, and she knew that.  The presure, the disappointment; I can understand a few tears escaping.

But then came this little fiasco in Conneticut (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/02/04/hillary-clinton-cries-in-_n_84823.html) right before that state's primary.  I had to admit, my eyebrow found itself leaping up in skepticism.  Once when the polls were scary?  Ok.  But twice?  I started to wonder, does Hillary turn on the water works when she feels that she is in political danger, and hopes that female voters surge to her side in support?  Or is she really that emotional?  Well, she's done it again.  Apparently, while in Maine, talking to a veteran, the tear ducts started leaking. (http://news.yahoo.com/nphotos/slideshow/photo//080209/480/37e15e00cf584d47971c72ac6b53fa95/).
I have once again changed my mind to believe that this is a side of Hillary we have never seen; a personal one.  She seemed able to take emotions out of politics during Bill's two terms.  This is far more personal for her than that, as it's a referendum on her own personal political skills (which are far less formidable than her husband's).  But just because I think she's being honest doesn't mean I want her crying anytime anything slightly sad or disheartening happens.  The only time I ever think it's okay to see my President cry is after the death of a close family member, and then only a little.  Tragedy like 9/11?  I don't want to see him/her cry.  He or she has to be stronger than that.  Such is the office; the weight of the free world, all its people included, is on your shoulders.  This crying crap has got to stop; the President has to be stronger than that.

I hate crying.  It sucks.  And because it sucks, I rarely ever do it.  I've had one or two moments in the last five or so years where any tears have come on out of these eyes, and I got to tell you that it pissed me off every time.  Crying doesn't help anything.  It just gives you red eyes, and a runny nose, and a blotchy face.  And crying is certainly not of sign of strength and control.

So I'm conducting a poll.  I want to get the communities feelings on Hillary's tears.  Is it fake, or real?  And regardless of that, does it make you feel better or worse about her to see her cry?  Personally, I don't like it.  But I don't like seeing anybody cry, really.  I want to get a general feel here as to what the whole crying thing is doing to her campaign.
