Why I'm voting Obama

I'm adding myself to the list of folks endorsing Obama.  For me it comes down to the generational change of leadership.  Obama is of my generation, while Hillary is in that generation ahead of mine.  We have an opportunity in Obama to take one of the brightest men of our generation and place him in charge of directing our destiny.   I look at my peers in business and politics and I see that this is now our time.  We have risen up through the ranks and are ready to lead.
We are the ones raising families and needing good schools.  We are the ones who will live with the consequences of global warming; unless we stop it.  Ronald Reagan bequeathed this terrible national debt to us, and have it as our inheritance to pay.  We have lived our lives under a constant rightward swing of the pendulum; we must turn it back before it swings us into a nation ruled by fear and hatred.
We are still young enough to have a stake in the future, while the others who ask to lead us have only a stake in their retirement.  These other candidates might worry about their place in the history books, but Obama is young enough that he will actually read those texts.  McCain would leave us in Iraq for 100 years which is fine for him because how many of those will he have to actually suffer through.
I urge those in my generation and those who follow; vote for Obama.  Let us take charge and rule our destiny.  We will be there in the future so we might as well take command to shape it.  For those who are in the generations that came before us, I urge you to trust us to lead.
