He is back....

The Republican white knight is looking into bringing the country another 4 years of conservatism in the White House.

Ralph Nader has formed a presidential exploratory committee, and said in an interview Wednesday that he will launch another presidential bid if he's convinced he can raise enough money to appear on the vast majority of state ballots this fall.

Interesting Timing (FMArouet21 - 1/30/2008 2:48:47 PM)
But I believe that Nader is making a PR tactical move. He has indicated that he would run if Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee, for he sees her as just another corporatist, establishment enabler. Nader may be making his announcement now to try to push a percent or two of the Democratic electorate into the not-Hillary camp, i.e., the Obama camp, in the upcoming primaries.

It was interesting that Edwards' withdrawal statement contained language very similar to Obama's earlier statement on the withdrawal. If the two campaigns are now coordinating, they may be trying to decide at what moment an Edwards endorsement would give the biggest bump to Obama. My guess is that the best moment would be tomorrow afternoon, before the Obama-Clinton debate.

But then, I could be flat out wrong, and perhaps the Clintons have made an offer that Edwards can't refuse.

He's Insane (oldsoldier - 1/30/2008 2:49:22 PM)
No way he still has all the cards he was dealt when he was born.  I wish there was some way to set up an "extremist race" between Nader and Ron Paul, so us tweens can worry about John Edwards dropping out.

The man's ego is incredible and George W. owes him big time.

This year, we have the antidote.  We have a turnout machine named Obama.  Ralph Nader will only be playing with himself.  Have fun Ralph.
