Oh Please Let it Be True

Delegate Jeff Frederick is running for Chair of the Republican Party of Virginia...

Jeff Frederick is probably the least liked member of the General Assembly.  Democrats don't like his nasty politics and Republicans don't like his stupid and childish antics.  This could be the best news for the Democratic Party of Virginia since the car tax was "repealed"!

PS: Should he win- Frederick would be the 4th RPV Chairman since the November 2006- Kate Obenshain Griffin, Ed Gillespie, and John Hager being the others...

UPDATE (more below the fold): The next Chair of the Republican Party of Virginia on Abuser Fees (courtesy of the Democratic Party of Virginia).

I strongly endorse Delegate Frederick (James Martin - 1/18/2008 9:54:33 PM)
I feel that his unique combination of an obnoxious personality and a divisive political philosophy make him the best man to lead the Republican Party of Virginia. I strongly urge all of my friends on the Virginia Republican State Central Committee to vote for Mr. Frederick.

I second that motion (Lowell - 1/18/2008 9:59:59 PM)
For all the reasons aforementioned! :)

I second that.

Somehow this video seems appropriate (Lowell - 1/18/2008 10:02:19 PM)

Jeff Frederick for Chair and Brian Kirwin for "Spokesman" (Peninsula Pete - 1/18/2008 10:24:05 PM)
Between the two, they could piss off Mother Teresa.  Both think they know more than anyone else and they are both full of insults and crap!

I can't think of a better tag-team to complete the decline of the Virginia Republican Party.

Talent like Frederick and Kirwin, can only be found in the Virginia Republican Party!

Just What the GOP Needs (Scott Surovell - 1/18/2008 11:24:44 PM)
The RPV needs a chair who sees the value in using Tom Delay as a draw at theirfundraisers.  Just make sure they shut all of the window curtains again so no one can see who's sneaking in.

The road to a majority in the HOD also runs through his district.  I hope he wins and becomes thoroughly distracted right around Summer of 2009.

Bottom of the barrel (Kindler - 1/19/2008 12:44:27 AM)
The RPV has become truly masterful at putting its ugliest merchandise in the main display window -- Jim Gilmore, Bob Marshall, Jeff Frederick?

Is this the best the GOP has to offer, or have their better candidates just become too embarrassed to run?
