Claire McCaskill to Endorse Barack Obama

Another day, another excellent endorsement for Barack Obama.  Since his second place finish in New Hampshire, Obama has picked up endorsements from Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts, Sen. Tim Johnson of South Dakota, Gov. Janet Napolitano of Arizona, and Sen. Ben Nelson of Nebraska.  Now it's Sen. Claire McCaskill of Missouri.  According to the AP story:

The endorsement is expected to be a major boost for Obama in Missouri, historically a bellwether in presidential contests and one of nearly two dozen states holding primaries or caucuses on Feb. 5.

Support from McCaskill could also help Obama woo female voters in his race against New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, his chief rival for the Democratic nomination.

Nice.

Where was the news coverage of this? (phillip123 - 1/13/2008 12:50:00 AM)
So this happened late Sunday, I wonder if the results would have been better if all the media had shown this instead of Hillary's fake tears. Perhaps the Women of NH would have objected to one of Hillary's senior advisers driving 70 MPH in a 30 zone while Drunk.

Gee, RK, are you pro-Obama or what?  Guess, I'll have to look for another source for Virginia and other political news.

Actually, "RK" is not pro-Obama (Lowell - 1/13/2008 5:15:11 PM)
as an organization (we haven't made an official "RK endorsement"). Having said that, many of the front-pagers are pro-Obama, and the majority of our readers appear to be as well (based on a poll we did a few weeks ago).  Anyway...the good thing about a community blog is that anyone can post a diary about their candidate or topic of choice.
