Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 20.

This is great winter weather -- for Iowa, that is -- and should encourage relatively high turnout for the caucuses on January 3rd.  Who does that help?  For instance, I've heard some Edwards supporters talking about how bad weather would help them.  By that reasoning, would good weather hurt Edwards?  Yeah, it seems a bit silly to me too.  But then again, in a super-close race like this one, who knows what will tip it to one candidate or the other.  It's amazing that our next President could be determined in part by the weather in Iowa on one day in the winter of 2008.   What's that saying about Democracy, the worst system ever invented...except for all the other ones? :)
