From Mark Warner, Virginia's next great U.S. Senator (with all of our help):

Dear Friend,

I hope you, your family and friends are having a safe and enjoyable holiday season.

It has been great to visit with many of you as I have travelled the Commonwealth and the country over the past three months, and I would like to thank each of you for your friendship and support.

As 2007 draws to a close, I am so grateful for the amazing support you've given my campaign for U.S. Senate. Since we launched this campaign in September, over 1400 of you have contributed more than $500,000 to my campaign via the internet.

Trust me: that sends a powerful message that Virginians are ready for transformative change and a new approach in Washington.

Let's make that message even more loud and clear.

Our goal for the year is to get 1500 online donors to the campaign before midnight on December 31, 2007. Please click here to contribute today.

The problems this country faces are too big to be solved by the same-old partisan bickering. It's time for fundamental change and a real commitment to innovation in energy, the economy and education.

I know you agree and that's why I'm calling on you today to join me as an investor in this effort. Please click here to contribute today.

Thank you,

Mark R. Warner

Don't forget Leslie Byrne as well! (Lowell - 12/27/2007 3:51:22 PM)
Dear Friend,

Last week I wrote to you and asked for your help, and you responded.  In one week we raised $10,000!  Just $10,000 more will allow us to reach our $100,000 goal for our first quarter of fundraising.  Thanks to your efforts this goal is close to a reality.  We want to show Republicans, and a few doubting Democrats, what a grassroots campaign can do. May I count on you?

Please contribute $50, $100, $250, $500 or whatever you can give today to help us show that Virginia, once again, is ready to elect a progressive Democrat to Congress!

This is a campaign that will be fueled by your efforts, and so far you have delivered. Please send us into the New Year on a high note-by reinforcing our message of economic and social justice.  When given the opportunity to once again represent you in Congress, I will work tirelessly each and every day to deliver the progress that you seek for our community.  With a practical and commonsense approach, I will find real solutions to our daily challenges, always keeping in mind that I represent you, not those lobbying on behalf of the special interests.

Please contribute $50, $100, $250, $500 or whatever you can give today to help us reach our goal!

I wish you and your loved ones a Happy and Healthy New Year, and look forward to a year of new leadership and progress!

With Kindest Regards,

Leslie Byrne

And Judy Feder! (Lowell - 12/27/2007 3:52:30 PM)
Three weeks ago I challenged you to help us reach our fundraising goal before the end of the year.  We thought we were being ambitious when we set a goal of raising $35,000 online in less than 4 weeks.

Even we were amazed when you blew past the goal, raising $55,829 online since December 6th. That's over $15,000 more than our original goal!

It's not just about dollars. Your early support means everything. It allows us to plan and run the grassroots campaign we'll need to win in November and change our country in 2008.

Can you help us reach one last goal in 2007?

We've set a new goal of $60,000 by the end of the year!  That means we need to raise another $4,171 online in the next 5 days.

Click here to help us reach our final goal of 2007.

The money we raise in 2007 ensures that we'll be in position to win in 2008. You have the ability to help us get there.

I am so grateful for your support over the past year. Thanks to you we've never been stronger.

Sincerely,

Judy Feder

Don't forget Doug (phillip123 - 12/27/2007 4:45:24 PM)
Friends,

Thanks for visiting my website. I am running for the U.S. Congress as a Democrat representing the 11th District of Virginia. This district is outside of Washington, DC and covers portions of Fairfax County and Prince William County in Northern Virginia. I will be serving all Americans as a Member of Congress.

Elections are about the future and they are about change. If you are ready for change and if you're looking for a leader who is running to improve our district and our country, then please support me and my candidacy.

I am a straightforward, well-qualified leader who will listen to you and wants to represent you in Congress. My message today is brief; please take away the following three things:

  1. I am a patriot who is fully prepared and qualified to serve our nation again as a new member of the House of Representatives. I've held numerous leadership and representative positions in the U.S. military, local government and civic organizations. I served over twenty-two years as a U.S. Naval Flight Officer, commanded a Navy fighter squadron and was decorated for service in Iraq.
  2. I will need your help to bring change to the U.S. Congress and to improve our future. How I govern will affect our way of life, our children's future, our defense and our freedoms. We need to bring our troops out of Iraq, solve our transportation issues, and work together to fix numerous other problems facing our nation and our district.
  3. I will need your vote, and I will need your contributions to help me bring my message to the voters. Politics is not a spectator sport. As my website grows, I will be providing more information on me, my ideas, and how you can help.

These are exciting times, and you will hear more from me very soon.

Thanks,

Latest Doug Denneny Email Update (Tyler Durden - 12/29/2007 3:41:47 AM)

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

I hope that you and your family are enjoying this holiday season.   I want to thank you for the support you and others have given our grassroots campaign to change Virginia's 11th Congressional District and Washington DC.

I need your help.  Your contribution of $10, $25, $50 or more before the end of the year can send a strong message to Tom Davis and George Bush that it is time for new leadership in 2008.

I am a New Generation Democrat and I represent change and a new direction in Washington DC.  I'm strong on national security, strong on fiscal discipline and socially progressive.

My two decades of service as a naval flight officer, TOPGUN instructor, special assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and service on Capitol Hill have given me the experience needed to fully represent the constituents of the 11th Congressional District on international and national issues.  Yesterday's tragic assassination in Pakistan highlights the need to send an internationally experienced leader like me to Washington, DC.

My community service as the president of my large citizens' association, and my leadership on transportation issues, such as fighting for the Tysons tunnel, and working with the Fairfax government to stop climate change, have shown my commitment to the local issues facing the 11th District.

I have the energy and passion we need to lead this District and the country in a new direction.  The voters of Virginia's 11th District are fed up with 7 years of failed Bush administration policies.  Tom Davis - who has voted with the Bush administration on issues such as Iraq, deficit spending and protecting war profiteers - has demonstrated that he is willing to toe the party line at the expense of his constituents and the nation.

This campaign is not just about this generation, but also future generations who will bear the burden of the mistakes Tom Davis and the Bush Administration have so willingly made.  Due to their failed leadership, for the first time in history, our children may have fewer opportunities then we had.  It is critically important that we fight to give them the tools they need to succeed.

There is only one candidate in the Democratic primary that can stand toe-to-toe against Tom Davis and defeat him in November.  I am that candidate.

Your contribution of $10, $25, $50 or more before the end of the year will be the first step in showing that change is on the way.   Please pass this along to your family and friends.  Let them know there is a New Generation Democrat running for Congress - strong on defense, fiscally responsible and socially progressive - and he is ready to lead.  By investing in this campaign, we can win this election and reclaim our nation.

All my best and Happy New Year,

Douglas J. Denneny
