Sideshow Bob Forms Exploratory Committee

Del. "Sideshow" Bob Marshall (R-Prince William) never ceases to amuse. Whether it's pushing his hate anti-gay-marriage amendment or ranting about turning "coeds" into "chemical love canala for...frathouse playboys in Virginia," it's never a dull moment when Sideshow Bob comes to town. Now, it looks like he's running for U.S. Senate. I see that he's got a few of our friends on his steering committee:
*Sen. Ken "Talk to Ron the Toy Elephant" Cuccinelli
*Shaun "Jew Baiting" Kenney
*Mark "See You in Court!" Tate
*Russ "Read This Comment" Moulton
Is this Sideshow Bob's version of the "A-Team" or something? Be afraid, Jim Gilmore (not to mention Mark Warner). Be very afraid! Ha.

You start to get a glimmer of just how despondent Republicans must feel about the thought of Jim Gilmore running for Senate on his record when so many of them would prefer to see Bob Marshall run on his instead.

I hope he and Gilmore get into an expensive, nasty fight. Please pass the popcorn.
In what promises to be a tough election year with lots of emotional ups and downs, a Gilmore-Marshall race could provide us some needed comic relief.

If the RPVA hadn't shut out Davis by choosing a convention instead of a primary, I'd be sorely tempted to vote for Marshall in their primary to increase the clown "grins and giggles" factor. It is going to be sooooo much fun campaigning next year for Mark W.
