Heartland Presidential Forum

Check out the Heartland Presidential Forum in Des Moines, Iowa, with five presidential candidates -- all Democrats, although Republicans were invited -- participating.  It's going on now (3 PM eastern time). The candidates are Hillary Clinton, Chris Dodd, John Edwards, Dennis Kucinich, and Barack Obama.

By the way, notice how ONLY DEMOCRATS accepted the invitation to address "the Heartland" that they love to blather on about all the time?  They should hear some of these questions, about factory farms, corporate power, and the environment, although I doubt they'd have any answers that made any sense.

[UPDATE:  Very powerful, emotional questions about health care, corporate power, living wages, the environment, immigrants, etc.  I'll tell you, the questions by these "regular people" are infinitely better than those by the blow-dried, self-obsessed airheads from the corporate media who moderate most the debates.]
