Constitutional Officers for Forgit

Good morning, RK!

Yesterday evening I had a very constructive conversation with DPVA Regional Representative Susan Mariner and "Philip Forgit for Congress" Campaign Manager Dan Kelly.

As a result, we determined that the best way that I could assist in Phil's campaign would be to help organize "Constitutional Officers for Forgit", especially those within his First Congressional District.

This worked quite well - especially early on - in the Jim Webb for U. S. Senate campaign last year, and I'm hoping for a similar result again this time for Phil...
Therefore, if you are - or if you know - constitutional officers - Circuit Court Clerks, Commissioners of the Revenue, Commonwealth's Attorneys, Sheriffs and/or Treasurers - in these First Congressional District localities:  Caroline, Essex, Fredericksburg, Gloucester, Hampton, James City, King and Queen, King George, King William, Lancaster, Matthews, Middlesex, Newport News, Northumberland, Pocquouson, Richmond County, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Westmoreland, Williamsburg and/or York - please contact me here - or contact them - and ask them to get in touch with me as soon as possible.

In the meantime, I will be calling into each of these jurisdictions over the next few days - starting with Clerks - to determine what level of support may be available from constitutional officers for Phil in their respective areas, and I will report same back to everyone here as our efforts progress.

The desired results would be public endorsements of Phil's candidacy by various constitutional officers and/or active support of his campaign by them in those designated First Congressional District jurisdictions.

Obviously, since the election will be held on Tuesday, December 11, time is of the essence, so I'll need to hear from you - and them - very soon!

Please help Phil Forgit continue with converting the color of Virginia's political landscape from red to blue this year and next.

Thanks!

Steve McGraw, Clerk
Roanoke County Circuit Court

CO Endorsement/Support Update (cycle12 - 12/4/2007 9:20:22 AM)
Good morning, RK!  Even though I got off to a slow start yesterday (December 3) due primarily to Monday work demands at my office, I have already secured the support of five constitutional officers (CO's) for Phil Forgit's campaign, and there will be many more...

The names, offices and localities of these COs are listed at the end of the "Endorsements" page on Phil's campaign website:  http://philipforgit.com

The Forgit campaign contact person is communications director Will Jenkins, and endorsements can be e-mailed directly to him at will@forgit2007.com for posting on Phil's website.

Only seven days until the election, so please keep working, and stay tuned...

Thanks!

Steve

The special election will be held on Tuesday, December 11, so please keep working hard, and stay tuned...

Thanks!
