Bob McDonnell Claims Blogs Part of "Grand Conspiracy"

OK, we always knew that "Taliban Bob" McDonnell was a right-wing fanatic.  But now it turns out that he's a tinfoil hat lunatic as well.  This morning, on the "AM Charlottesville" program, McDonnell went completely off the deep end, accusing the blogger Waldo Jaquith of forming a "grand conspiracy" with other bloggers and with Democratic Attorney General candidate Creigh Deeds.  Oh, and blogging is worthless.  And Martians kidnapped "Taliban Bob" last night and performed nasty experiments using anal probes.  Yeah, alright, I'm just kidding about the last one, but I wouldn't put it past "Taliban Bob" to say something like that.  What a weirdo.

By the way, I know Waldo.  And I can absolutely, 100% guarantee you that Waldo is not part of any "conspiracy!"  Why do I say this?  Because -- and I say this with the deepest respect and admiration -- Waldo is one of the most independent, stubborn bastards I've ever met in my life!  And brilliant too.  And possessing tremendous integrity.  Seriously, Waldo does nobody else's bidding.  No way, no how.  Shit, a  conspiracy for Waldo would be if he agreed with his wife on what to have for dinner!! :)

So let's keep all this in perspective.  This has nothing to do with the blogger(s) being attacked.  This has EVERYTHING to do with the wacky world that "Taliban Bob" McDonnell inhabits.  Somewhere out there on "Planet Albo," perhaps?  I mean, serious, this is a guy who's obsessed with sodomy and lesbianism (his two great missions in life?), but can't remember if he himself ever had sodomy.  More importantly, McDonnell also can't seem to remember anything about the "mystery $1 million" that Waldo Jaquith and newspapers have been trying to track down.  We DO know the following:

McDonnell?s current campaign manager, former campaign manager, and top strategy firm are all very closely tied to an organization established for the sole purpose of laundering money. And McDonnell has nearly $1,000,000 that he cannot explain the origin of.

We also know that Robin Vanderwall, a convicted pedophile and former McDonnell campaign manager, is in the middle of all this.

Sure, this could all be completely innocent.  And if you believe that, I have some really nice waterfront property in New Orleans I'd like to sell you.  It's right next to one of those beautiful levees that failed during Hurricane Katrina, flooding the city and prompting the Bush Administration point man on the crisis to declare, I am a fashion god?"

Ah, yes, today's Republican Party - corruption, croynism, compassion (not!), incompetence, money laundering, shady campaign tactics, and downright craziness.  If you like this, you should DEFINITELY vote for Kilgore/Bolling/McDonnell so we can have lots more of this stuff, right here in Virginia.  I mean, it's not enough that we have them at the national level with Bush, Cheney, DeLay, etc.  Right?
