University of New Hampshire Poll: Thompson Plummets, Romney Rises

Check out the latest poll results from New Hampshire on the Republican side:

Romney: 33% (up from 25% in September)
McCain: 18% (no change)
Giuliani: 16% (down from 18%)
Paul: 8% (up from 4%)
Huckabee: 5% (up from 3%)
Thompson: 4% (down from 13%)

What jumps out at me here is the complete collapse of Fred Thompson (Virginia co-chairs, George Allen and Bob McDonnell - heh), the increased support for Mitt Romney, and the continued growth for both Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee.  Oh, and Rudy: if you can't make it there (Iowa and New Hampshire, that is), you can't make it anywhere.

C'mon Flip! (The Grey Havens - 11/20/2007 11:04:28 AM)
Flip Romney is the Democrats' best chance for a landslide victory in 2008 that would make Reagan '84 and Clinton '96 look like bush-style nailbiters.

Yeah Flip!  Go Flip!  Nominate Flip!

All over for Thompson (humanfont - 11/20/2007 11:33:22 AM)
I predict he will withdrawl before the end of the year.  His endorsers are so disgusted with his performance that they want to pull back, but they can't as long as he's in.  A bunch will probably meet with him and say go back to L&O.
