This past Sunday, I had the privilege of hosting an Iraq War Veteran and fantastic candidate for Congress at my home in Oakton, VA. I hope that you take the time to watch Doug's speech from the event, which you can find at the following address:

We had a fantastic turnout, and our State Senator-Elect Chap Petersen was able to make it out and bring on some great sentiment for what we will be another landmark victory for Virginia Democrats next year.

UPDATED: Please note that Chap has made no announcement of endorsement for any candidate, as of current.

Very interesting that Chap was there. (Lowell - 11/14/2007 7:27:31 AM)

this may be a fourway race (teacherken - 11/14/2007 12:57:03 PM)
most people think that Connolly will get in once Davis formally announces he's not running, and at Chap's event on Monday Andy Hurst told me he is thinking seriously of getting in, that a lot of people have been urging him to do so.

There are some real quality people, each with strengths they bring to the table.  I only hope that a seriously contested primary can be without bitterness.

peace.

This may be five-way race (Ingrid - 11/14/2007 2:40:41 PM)
There is one other person who is interested in running.  At Chap's event earlier this week, I was introduced to a gentleman whose name escapes me.  I was told that he is a potential candidate.

Interesting very interesting (citizenindy - 11/14/2007 6:07:09 PM)
With at least 4 (5) candidates the coalitions are going to be very interesting.  It might all come down to the Prince William County Democrats.

Will Chap endorse Leslie?  if so when?
