Chairman Stewart Returns to 9500 Liberty -- CRACKDOWN NOT A POLITICAL PLOY

Brand new 9500 Liberty video explores the contention of the Washington Post editorial board that tension resulting from immigration in Prince William County was exploited by Chairman of the County Board of Supervisors, Corey A. Stewart.  Of note here is Sharon Pandak's point that the first "Crackdown" vote on July 10th was the same day Stewart was forced to raise taxes.  We did some research (which we show in the video), and Pandak is right about the timing (whatever you might make of the significance).

This new video returns to the now-famous moment racial conflict that has recently been making the rounds on YouTube and the local news stations.  .  Only this time we look at it from an Asian American perspective -- i.e. how are Asian Americans-- immigrants who will forever bear the visual characteristics as such-- relevant in this conflict that is largely seen as a white vs. Hispanic conflict.  What potential and therefore what responsibility to we have as mediators who can help our countr avoid a cultural civil war.  Of the videos we've posted so far, this is the most personal piece for me, and certainly for Annabel.

Finally, here is a link for one of four TV news stories that featured 9500 Liberty in the past few days.

Stewart tells lies for personal and political gain. (snolan - 11/5/2007 9:23:39 AM)
This "issue" was invented purely for political gain and to try to stir up the neo-con base which may have otherwise sat out this race since their elected Republican controlled house, senate, and county boards have dont nothing about this "issue" or any other issue they have fabricated in the past.

Ask the neo-con voters why, with solid control of all branches of government except the governor's office, this issue was allowed to get so bad that it has stirred up this much anger and violence.

That takes the fool's argument away.
