Please see today's Potomac News Editorial.  They finally got one right!  In fact, they had so much to say it was the only editorial printed today.

GO SHARON!!!!!

[UPDATE by Lowell:  This rocks:

*"[Stewart] has proven that he is capable of grandstanding, making empty gestures and dividing our community."

*"Stewart who ran last year on a platform of combatting runaway development, appears interested only in self-aggrandizement."

*"While trying to address illegal immigration, Stewart divided the Prince William County community by championing a resolution that did very little."

*"Stewart's lack of leadership on the subject and his refusal to even consider the sage advice of Prince William Police Chief Charlie Deane, a 41-year veteran of law enforcement, only serves to make witnesses and victims less likely to come forward and crimes harder to solve.

*"Stewart clearly worshiped at the altar of his own ambition throughout all of this."

*"Could he be any more obvious about his desire for the spotlight?"

*"Stewart's arrogance alone calls for his ouster."

*"Stewart has shown what he is made of -- hot air."

OK, the Potomac News is now my favorite newspaper ever!!! (well, at least for today) :)]

Wow (Doug in Mount Vernon - 11/2/2007 12:58:46 PM)
Outstanding editorial and I could not be happier about the local paper doing so.

I sure hope the voters in PWC will read this and actually think about the issues, and understand the political calculation behind Stewart's irreponsible actions.

Corey Stewart and Eugene Delgaudio (Lowell - 11/2/2007 1:06:50 PM)
On Tuesday, voters in Prince William and Loudoun counties have a chance to get rid of two of the nastiest, least effective public officials in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I think the Potomac News may be your favorite newspaper today only. (Barbara - 11/2/2007 2:41:11 PM)
So far this week they've endorsed Jeff Frederick, Scott Lingamfelter, and Faisal Gill.  But, hey, they got this one right.

Good point. (Lowell - 11/2/2007 2:44:12 PM)
Today only, then! :)

Good point (Doug in Mount Vernon - 11/2/2007 4:57:34 PM)
So, why don't they see the same qualities in Jeff Frederick!??

They are clearly there!
