Boy, there sure have been a lot of "scheduling conflicts" involving Jerry Kilgore recently -- Karl Rove, George W. Bush, and now John McCain. According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Senator McCain (R-AZ) didn't show up at last night's veterans' rally for Kilgore in Arlington due to yet another of those dreaded "conflicts." D'oh!
It's interesting, because Senator McCain had plenty of time a couple weeks ago to speak in New York at an event with Senators Schumer and Clinton, among others. But no time for Jerry Kilgore, apparently. Damn schedulers!!!
