The US electorate is culpable in this disaster. It is our long neglect of our duty as citizens that let a Supreme Court be seated which first picked President Bush II. And then we actually elected President Bush in 2004. Now, few prominent figures from either party acknowledge that we are a bankrupt nation which has hollowed out our economic base as we compromised our national currency and integrity. And albeit they have mired us in national policy muck up to our necks, many of our incumbent politicians calculate that they remain unassailable. Meanwhile most of the major Presidential hopefuls are clueless and merely plan to dazzle us bumpkins with their "spin".
This is our fault, but we are not the first electorate to make these mistakes:

Next year, in the 6th Congressional District of Virginia, we will have an opportunity to vote for Sam Rasoul, who offers a program of returning to our traditional values here in Virginia < http://www.samrasoul... >.
