Mark Warner gets a Running Start

During the first two weeks of his US Senate bid- Mark Warner has wiped out the cash on hand advantage of likely Republican candidate Tom Davis. Warner raised more than $1.1 million and spent about $90,000. Tom Davis has about $1 million in the bank that could be used for a US Senate run. Only $4,600 came from Warner himself.

The latest poll in the race conducted by CNU shows Warner leading likely Republicans Davis and Gilmore by about 24 points (and has Warner above 50%).
