Good morning, RK!  I'm excited to announce that our own junior U. S. Senator from Virginia, Jim Webb, will be coming to the Roanoke Valley on Monday afternoon, October 29, in support of the Breiner, Edwards, Holt, Horn, McGraw, Moore, Ware and Wymer election campaigns.

My good friends Dr. Mike Breiner for State Senate, State Senator John Edwards for re-election, Sheriff Gerald Holt for re-election, Commissioner Nancy Horn for re-election, Charlotte Moore for Cave Spring Supervisor, Delegate Onzlee Ware for re-election, Dave Wymer for Catawba School Board and I (Clerk Steve McGraw for re-election) are proud and honored that Senator Jim Webb is taking time from his busy schedule to come to southwest Virginia in support of our respective candidacies.

We will begin gathering at approximately 3:30 P.M. in order to welcome Senator Webb to the totally renovated Vinton War Memorial's Grand Ballroom located at 820 Washington Ave., Vinton, VA  24179, telephone number 540.983.0613.  Jim Webb will join us soon thereafter, and we'll be done by about 5:30 P.M.

Undoubtedly, Senator Webb's visit will provide that last big burst of energy and enthusiasm that we'll all appreciate and from which we'll benefit as we head into the final week of campaigning, leading up to a resounding Democratic victory on Election Day - Tuesday, November 6.

Please make note of Senator Webb's visit and invite your friends, neighbors and relatives to join us in the beautiful Town of Vinton on Monday afternoon, October 29.

We hope to see many of you there - thanks!

Steve McGraw, Clerk
Roanoke County Circuit Court

This is great! (VTYogi - 10/19/2007 4:10:10 PM)
The campaign is picking up major momentum.  Webb will be able to help boost Dr. Breiner and all the other democrats, and only a few days after Oliver North will be in town for Ralph Smith.

We have a real chance to take a republican strong hold on November 6th.  I think the races in the Roanoke Valley show how far the Republicans have fallen.  They can't even count on their "safe" seats.

That is great Steve! (samrasoul - 10/19/2007 8:26:48 PM)
Can't wait to see Webb and we are glad he is there when we need him most!
