Waddell Campaign Update

Things have definitely been exciting for the Katherine Waddell campaign. Last month we were endorsed by Governor Mark Warner who attended a fundraiser for the campaign. His message of non-partisan, solutions based governing that he wants to take to the US Senate matches up well with the only truly independent member of the House of Delegates.

We have also been out canvassing, talking to voters in Richmond and Chesterfield county and they are responding well to Katherine's message and record. We talk to many more independents and Democrats than Republicans and we're excited about our chances to hold this seat 3 weeks from now.

Below, I wanted to share our new ad with the RK community. It is a testimonial from Sherri Ellis, a Midlothian mother whose son Chip was abducted and murdered in 2006. Delegate Waddell helped Sherri change state law to include all high school students in the Amber alert whether they have already turned 18 (as Chip had) or not. Governor Kaine signed the bill into law this past summer.
