Sign Placement in PW County

Myra asked me to post this for her...

It would be a tremendous service if readers of Raising Kaine who live in Prince William County would suggest some places that candidates may place their signs.  In PWC, we can't put signs in the medians or right-of-ways --we have to put them on private property with the owners' permission.  Otherwise, the county comes along and carries them away.

So, I guess I'm asking if PWC readers would contact the campaign offices and tell they'd like a campaign sign, and also if they'd ask their neighbors and local businesses if they'd also put up signs.

George Barker is running a great race in Prince William County but he has few signs in the high visibility areas.  Other candidates could use the visibility as well.

I've compiled the campaigns' contact information:

George Barker, Senate 39th District :  info@barkerforsenate.com , (703) 451-4514

Signs in PWC (Evan M - 10/13/2007 12:40:03 AM)
If you live in PWC, please consider putting a sign in your yard, and even a bumper sticker on your car. (Today's bumper stickers come right off after elections, they're a lot easier to put on and take off than older stickers.) Local races turn on name recognition and turnout. You never know who might drive by and see a sign, and remember the name in the voting booth.

Every little bit helps.
