JMDD: Tysons Rail Debacle is Chaps Fault

Another day, another pile of mailers from Jeannemarie.  They sure are getting ugly...  or should that be desperate?  The latest is sure going after Chap with a boatload of negative words: failure, wrong, failed, "F", hypocrite, and "no".  Not much mention of JMDD with such ugly words swirling about.

Ok, that's nothing new or even interesting.  But it did make me smile at how desperate she's become.  And so does this...

What really caught my eye is the part where she not-so-subtly tries to blame Chap for the Tysons Rail mess.

What kind of clients did Petersen's firm fight for?  Well, there's Bechtel.  They got the no-compete contract for the Tyson's rail project, and have been running up the price ever since.

Let me get this straight...

Chap, currently not an elected official (that'll be changing soon though) works for a law firm who has Bechtel somewhere on their client list, is responsible for the train wreck under over Tysons Corner?

On the flip side, both JMDD, a state senator (soon to be former), and her husband, a long time powerful figure in NOVA, Virginia, and Federal politics, are in a position to influence such matters yet they deserve no blame?

What next - perhaps the $1000 speeding tickets are Chap's fault even though JMDD voted for them?

Don't you just love the desperation?

Daily kos notes the upcoming Assembly races (Christopher Walker - 10/10/2007 2:45:57 PM)
Readers here at Raising Kaine might want to visit Daily Kos and click "recommend" on the diary below. It seeks to remind the short attention span of the big national blog that the Assembly races are nearing, and links to the Raising Kaine ActBlue slate.

Chap's featured with David Englin, in the diary.

As many of you know, traffic on the big orange blog is alarmingly high, so 'recommend's help keep postings there from scrolling very quickly off the page into oblivion. Thanks.

It IS his fault (Not Harry F. Byrd, Sr. - 10/10/2007 2:49:24 PM)
He didn't speak at the Tunnel Rally and it's all his fault.

Oh wait, JMDD and Tom wouldn't let him speak.  Never mind....

Expect more of the same (Teddy - 10/10/2007 3:01:45 PM)
lies, distortions, and relentless repetition of "failure" and other negatives. Are not some of the architects of this campaign from the SwiftBoating crew? The hope oviously is that by endless repetition eventually the poor voter's subconscious will have absorbed the negatives and, like automatons programmed to do so, will witlessly vote for Ms D-D (for double-damned) when they go in the polling booth.  Expecially so when you consider the oncoming wave of yapping negative television commercials, which will reinforce the tsunami of negative mailouts.

"Tis The Season" (hereinva - 10/10/2007 3:05:22 PM)
The time is ticking down on the election clock so the  allegations, accusations, and innuendos become more desperate and ridiculous.

Seems that certain members of the GA have awoke from a deep  sleep...are in a state of groggy denial and just want to hit the snooze button again.
