1. Tuesday, October 9, is the last day to register to vote. Today's a holiday, so if you still need to register, you'll have to do it tomorrow.
2. The deadline to apply by mail for an absentee ballot is October 30.
3. The deadline to apply in person for an absentee ballot is November 3.
4. The election for all Virginia General Assembly seats, plus numerous local offices, is November 6.
