Read that poll and weap, Rudy fans.  According to Rasmussen reports, if there is a third-party pro-life candidate against Rudy Giuliani, Hillary leads by 16 percent over her Republican opponent.
Do Republicans risk losing so much of the vote by nominating Rudy?  Or do they go with Romney or Thompson, who are much further behind all the Democrats in the polls?  Only time can tell, but Democrats need to be down on their knees praying to whatever God it is those evangelicals pray to, because he may hand us the election.

JC has a post over at the Richmond Democrat that suggests that Ron Paul may run independently.  Or maybe some other candidate who is more religiously minded (Pat Buchanan, any one?).  Whatever the case, it can now be said Rudy Giuliani is NOT the Republican Party's most electable candidate.  Because all it take is one pro-life third party candidate to hand the race over to the Democrats.
