In honor of the absurd mailers being sent out by Jeannemarie Devolites Davis and other Republicans this cycle; check out Richard Stuart's contribution. Despite being John Chichester's handpicked replacement and donating money to Democrats like Mark Warner and, his Democratic opponent in the 28th district Senate race, Albert Pollard, Stuart courted GOP primary voters with phrases like "Lifelong Conservative" and "100% Pro-Life Conservative."

Is this accurate? Don't ask me, ask the Chair of the King George GOP, John Headley:

"In a candidates meeting in Northumberland, he supported Roe v. Wade. But, now Stuart states that he's totally pro-life. I am not certain Richard Stuart knows who Richard Stuart is."

Since the GOP primary, Stuart has changed his campaign logo to a bright blue color. His signs are also absent of the word "Republican." Stafford County is a very red area where most Republican candidates for office can't resist putting their party affiliation on any and all campaign paraphernalia.
