The Troy Farlow Story

As usual, Anonymous is a Woman has explained the situation perfectly -- in this case with regard to Troy Farlow.  One thing I'll add is that I don't in the least bit appreciate being misled or being told half truths, especially by a Democrat.  I'm also not happy that I left a voice mail message for Troy Farlow this morning but haven't heard back from him.  Troy's wife called me, and I appreciate that very much, but I still haven't heard an explanation of this story that satisfies me in the least bit (memory loss, family trauma, etc.).  The state police have a great deal of credibility in my book.

P.S.  Oh, by the way, I disagree with Vince of Too Conservative on most issues, but he's a good guy. I'll second AIAW on this: "My one plea to him is that next time he gets a story, please, please source it properly and write a fully fleshed out account."

P.P.S.  Vivian has a good post on this as well.

Thanks Lowell for your support on this (AnonymousIsAWoman - 9/27/2007 9:49:14 AM)
It really was embarrassing, I think, for Vivian as well as me.

One thing I want to emphasize is that Vince is a good guy.  That's why when his story didn't seem to check out and looked like a political hit job, I actually felt betrayed.  I always did respect his integrity even when I disagreed with him.

Even though this has been embarrassing and I actually still feel sorry for Troy Farlow, whom I hope finally learned a lesson in the importance of full disclosure, I am glad to have my faith in Vince's honesty restored.  And hopefully next time he'll give us a fuller picture to start with so there won't be any misunderstandings.
