Gang Crimes Plummet in Fairfax

I love this story, and I love Gerry Connolly's quote:

"It vindicates our approach in Fairfax, which is to focus on results and illegal behavior rather than posturing on federal responsibilities" such as checking immigration status, said Gerald E. Connolly (D), chairman of the county board. "What we're showing is results."

Nice job by Fairfax County, focusing on actual RESULTS and not on a bunch of bloviating by politicians cynically manipulating an issue for their own political gain (while accepting wads of money from companies and industries that heavily employ illegal immigrants -- what a bunch of two-faced hypocrites!)  By the way, last time I checked, Arlington County -- another county that focuses on results and not bashing people -- has one of the lowest crime rates in the region.  Maybe the Republican fist pounders in Loudoun and Prince William should model themselves after Fairfax and Arlington, not the other way around?  Just a thought, not that they'll listen.
