Are you ready - did anyone notice?  Fellow Virginian Kathleen Willey's tell-all expose' is due to hit a bookstore near you in mid-November.  Wonder what she has to say?  Inquiring minds want to know?

If you are thinking about voting in the Democratic primary next Feb., you need to read this book so you know what voters are going to be hearing during next fall's presidential election.

Read the book - and vote accordingly next February.

Bill Clinton wasn't running for president in 2008.  Why would we "vote accordingly?"

KW's Ghost (Flipper - 9/6/2007 10:07:49 PM)
Regardless of WHICH Clinton is running, we are going to hear about it.  Do you think it was an accident that her book is being released two months before the Iowa caucuses?

This book is designed to inflict damage on Hillary.  And if Hillary wins the nomination these types of issues are going to be raised right up until election day.  And do you really think KW is not going to mention Hillary in this book?

My prediction (Lowell - 9/6/2007 10:09:05 PM)
This will barely make a ripple, certainly will not hurt Hillary Clinton one bit.

Newsflash: (Chris Guy - 9/6/2007 10:14:39 PM)
Nobody cares.

Many, many, many books have come out in recent years, all threatening to "derail" Hillary's presidential aspirations.

If you want to do yet another anti-Hillary diary, go to DailyKos.

Exactly, or another anti-Edwards diary (Lowell - 9/7/2007 6:06:04 AM)
Is there any Democratic candidate you DO support?

KW, continued (Flipper - 9/6/2007 10:12:31 PM)
I respectfully disagree.  I think this will open the flood gates.  The press has ignored all of the Clinton's past history.  I think this book will open up that can of worms.  I guess we'll have to watch CNN and Harball the day the book comes out to gauge the impact.

questionable credibility (accidentalwoman - 9/6/2007 10:43:22 PM)
this woman has a lot of baggage of her own which will no doubt surface along with her book.

Same old, same old... (Kindler - 9/6/2007 11:05:35 PM)
If you think that "the press has ignored all of the Clintons' past history" then we must be talking about a different press.  Do you honestly think there's a nook or cranny of these people's personal lives that hasn't been the focus of a news story, gossip article or special prosecutor inquiry yet?

I will make my choice in the primaries based on who's the best candidate, not based on trashy gossip.

Yaaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnn (Lowell - 9/7/2007 6:06:44 AM)
Did I mention zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz?

KW..... (Flipper - 9/6/2007 11:37:15 PM)
kindler, what I am saying is that the whole mess will get opened up again - with new books, new allegations - it will suck the life out of her campaign and all of these issues will dominate the campaign.  The right wing in this country despises her even more than her husband and they will pull out all the stops to defeat her.  Her negatives will go higer than they are now and we will lose if she is our nominee.  I just don't want to throw away an election that we should win.  She is too polarizing.

Sorry, I'm just not seeing it (Catzmaw - 9/7/2007 7:52:32 AM)
For years we have seen every possible allegation about the Clintons and Hillary, including murder or complicity in murder, corruption, etc., etc., and so on.  I can't imagine what "new" allegations can come out.  There've already been plenty of books written, each of which was supposed to have sunk Hillary (remember that one from a few months ago by Pat Buchanan's sister?), and it's all a tempest in a teapot.  No one's listening any more.  There's been so much chaff thrown out over the years that someone could claim to have seen Hillary on the grassy knoll and it wouldn't stir a fuss.

Willey has ZERO credibility (Lowell - 9/7/2007 8:23:13 AM)
An Independent Counsel report[attribution needed] noted that Willey "had given substantially different accounts in two sworn statements and had lied to the FBI about her relationship with a former boyfriend." Further, "Following Willey's acknowledgment of the lie, the Independent Counsel agreed not to prosecute her for false statements in this regard.

Key words: "lied," "like," and "false statements."

End of story.

KW (Flipper - 9/7/2007 8:27:55 AM)
Maybe new allegations???????????  Time will tell - end of story, until mid November!

Uh....no. (Lowell - 9/7/2007 8:36:07 AM)
