What was that b.s. from Bush about how we were going to get Osama Bin Laden "dead or alive"?  Well, not only haven't we gotten him, now he's baaaaaack.  Heckuva job, Dubya!

It took FDR less time to defeat a real Axis... (dsvabeachdems - 9/6/2007 9:19:16 PM)
than for this administration to find one arrogant bandit who requires a wagon train of support.

In Montgomery county Md  yard signs are popping up like weeds saying, and i quote" Impeach them both"

Popping up all over Arlington, too. (Catzmaw - 9/7/2007 12:24:51 AM)

Alex. Dem. Resolution for Impeachment Proposal (Matt H - 9/7/2007 11:43:01 AM)
A group of us on the Alexandria Dem. Committee have submitted a resolution reflecting our desire for Jim Moran to move on the impeachment issue.

Dozens of better jurisdictions around the country have already passed such resolutions.

It's really time (and has been time) to put the country first, and worry about politics later.  They've screwed up our country to such an extent that they must go.  It's almost cartoon-ish how starkly the contrast between good and evil is, Webb/Moran vs. Bush/Cheney.  The latter must go.

I have never been for impeachment (Lowell - 9/7/2007 11:50:47 AM)
...not because Busy and Cheney don't richly deserve it, but because I thought it was futile. But I'm starting to think that the top priority is restoring the rule of law, the constitution, and the concept that no person is above the law in this country.  If it takes impeachment hearings to establish that, so be it.

Also (Matt H - 9/7/2007 1:49:21 PM)
Maybe it will start a discussion on just how much they've pillaged at our expense.  I don't want history to record that the American public did nothing to stop this crew from restricting our real freedom and eviscerating our real values.

Bush is so smug and cocky - he get away with whatever he wants because no one will ever stand up to him.  I can't tell you how happy I was when Webb almost throttled the twirp at the White House.

Bush needs to pay, and pay dearly for our fear, division, and backward progress.

forget impeachment (JScott - 9/7/2007 6:41:23 PM)
Can we please after a non-partisan debate on returning to try and force term limits on everyone for god sakes. Think about some of these guys in Congress that  would not be there anymore, on both sides there alot of fat that needs to go.

hello............1 (lgb30856 - 9/7/2007 12:43:48 AM)
I am about to have a heart attack over this crap.

I think this shows that that osama guy is working with these guys.

have u had enough??????????????????

How dumb do the Bushies think we are? (beachydem - 9/7/2007 9:01:47 AM)
Soldiers die daily and Osama's still at large?

Um George, the terrorists have won.

They want him around (Rebecca - 9/7/2007 3:18:21 PM)
If they catch him then they can't scare us over and over. Technical experts have shown video time stamps showing that some of these videos actually have been through some of our intelligence agencies. It shows that they aren't intelligent enough to cover their tracks.

Yet MORE crazy conspiracy theories (Lowell - 9/7/2007 3:34:01 PM)
You're really on a roll the past 24 hours!

Glad I live in America (Rebecca - 9/7/2007 4:59:52 PM)
I'm glad I live in America where you can doubt the government and you don't have to believe everything they say. Are you or are you just a gatekeeper?

I just calls 'em like I sees 'em (Lowell - 9/7/2007 5:02:34 PM)
And what I'm seeing from you recently is what I consider to be conspiracy theories.  But you're right, you live in America and have the right to express your beliefs.  Of course, over at Daily Kos and other progressive blogs, they've repeatedly cracked down against "the election was stolen" diaries (not backed by facts) and other such drivel.  I hope we don't have to do that here; so far, there's been relatively little wackiness and I hope we keep it that way.

Perhaps raisingkaine is too tame (Rebecca - 9/7/2007 5:01:45 PM)
Maybe I will join many others who no longer post on raisingkaine because they aren't allowed to doubt the government line. I know plenty who have chosen to abstain. Good Democrats too!

That's your choice. (Lowell - 9/7/2007 5:04:22 PM)
But you can be aggressive without being a conspiracy theorist or hurling absurd charges, such as the one you did about Bush and Bin Laden.  As much as I can't stand this Administration, I find that statement offensive.

Why can't people accept that this administration is simply incompetent? (dsvabeachdems - 9/7/2007 11:16:09 PM)
Better than any conspiracy theory...the pitifully sad truth.
