Today is Terrible Tuesday:
"The day after Labor Day is known by many as Terrible Tuesday," said Joan Morris, a spokeswoman for the Virginia Department of Transportation. "By that time, all of the schools are back in, and the majority of people are back from their vacations. It just sort of hits all at once."

I66 and Dulles Toll Road weren't noticeably worse today, and I've heard from some coworkers that their drives were about the same. What about the rest of you RKers?

I went from NOVA to Richmond this morning with no traffic, granted I did leave nova at 5:30am
