Wishful....No, Make That DELUSIONAL Thinking

I thank god everyday for the heroic Democratic and progressive bloogers that tread through the muck at sites like Free Republic or RedState, so I don't have to. Unfortunately, accountability demands it. Virginia Virtucon, a site so vile that NLS won't even add it to his blogroll, is a site I've kept tabs on ever since a recent sophomoric attack on Albert Pollard that got picked up by the Stafford GOP's official blog (one more reason Richard Stuart's anti-negative campaign "pledge" is an empty one).

What did I find out? That some Virginia Republicans are so afraid of Mark Warner running for the U.S. Senate, they refuse to even acknowledge it as a possibility. All the while wishing for a conservative knight in shining armor cowboy boots to swoop in and save the day.
Here's VV's poll questions:

Who will VA Dems nominate for U.S. Senate in '08?
1) Leslie Byrne
2) Creigh Deeds
3) Harris Miller
4) Brian Moran
5) Some Other Loser

Which Republican would you support for U.S. Senate in '08
1) Bill Bolling
2) Eric Cantor
3) Tom Davis
4) Randy Forbes
5) Jim Gilmore
6) Bob Goodlatte
7) Bob McDonnell

Oh, I take that back. I guess Warner is in the "Some Other Loser" category. Now when you ask yourself the question, "Who are these people are that still think Pres. Bush is doing a good job and that Saddam was behind 9/11?," you have your answer. Deny, deny, deny. Whatever helps you sleep at night wingnuts.

I never thought I'd be saying this (legacyofmarshall - 9/3/2007 3:13:45 PM)
But Tom Davis is the Republican on that list that disgusts me the least.

Ew ew Eric Cantor and Randy Forbes ew ew ew.  At least they forgot to put Democraindepepublican/Fascist (read: opportunist) Virgil Goode on the list.

Pamphlet Wars (Evan M - 9/3/2007 3:16:29 PM)
Tee hee, I love being in the blogosphere right now. It's like the pamphlet wars at the beginning of the 19th century.

Cheers to all those with the time and inclination to join the war of words.

stay tuned (JScott - 9/3/2007 3:54:40 PM)
Interesting. I think Cantor could probably beat Davis with the more conservative vote and it seems everyone is dead bent on talking about a Gilmore/Davis faceoff. Cantor has a warchest of money from those "illegal employers" we have talked about lately.  **Cantor is my Congressman
As more of an independent I must be inclined to agree about VV, however for me I have stopped reading DailyKos for the same reasons. I know alot of folks like it but I prefer those sites where people are sincere about addressing solutions moving forward and not merely doing their rendition on whose to blame for it all. I see VV like Raider fans and DailyKos like Eagle fans....no matter what they are always right and if not they will knock ya up side the head for beating them or proving them wrong....just ask them.
