Kilgore's "Hitler" Ad Backfiring: Kaine Up 47%-45%

According to a SurveyUSA poll released today, Tim Kaine has now pulled ahead in the Virginia governor's race, 47%-45%.  The best thing about this poll is that it shows a fantastic trend line since March.  Check this out!

That's right, Tim Kaine has gone from 10 points down in March to 2 points up in October, a gain of 12 points.  In other words, the more Virginians get to know Tim Kaine, the more they like his vision of optimism, positivity, and continued success like we've seen with the Warner/Kaine administration the last 4 years.  On the flip side, Jerry Kilgore's relentless lies and negativity -- even bringing Adolf Hitler(!!) into the Virginia governor's race -- has certainly not earned him any new friends the past 8 months or so.

Interestingly, SurveyUSA is the first public poll conducted since Jerry Kilgore launched his infamous, despicable "Hitler" attack ads against Tim Kaine.  And guess what?  SurveyUSA shows that Kilgore's slimefest is backfiring, big time.  In other words, the people of Virginia are a lot smarter and a lot better than Jerry Kilgore thinks they are.  And on November 8, Kilgore will reap the fruits of the bitter, nasty campaign that he's waged - ignominious defeat at the hands of a far, far better man.  Just think: another three weeks, and we'll never have to listen to Jerry Kilgore's lying voice again.  I can't wait.
